Craft and simplicity provide a design-led approach

Derwent’s challenge was to create a Report that showcased their design-led ethos whilst communicating their business strategy in a rich and engaging way. With no brand guidelines (by choice) we drew inspiration from the properties they design and manage to create a simple and elegant framework for the year.

Creative collaboration

Collaborating with the illustrator Chris Dent we developed an intricate and technical landscape showcasing their portfolio within the tech belt – this style took inspiration from architectural drawings and blueprints.

To emphasise the passion of the employees we captured them within their Saville Row home and within the properties they own and manage. These images feature prominently within the design showcasing it’s a people business in which they are proud of the spaces they create.

A visual texture and crafted aesthetic developed – spot colours, illustrations, infographics, imagery and typographic variety make for a report that is rich and engaging to read.

All about
the details

The tangible nature of the report was extremely important with every detail thought through. From the colour of the paper and environmental qualities it possessed, to the orange gloss foil on the cover and the coloured stitching linking to the colour choice, it all came together for the report to take centre stage.
