Impact Report 2020

Finding Equilibrium from start to finish

Making a statement

Working in partnership with Gucci Equilibrium the challenge was to create their first Impact Report to raise awareness of their internal and external commitment to generate positive change for people and planet.

The report also needed to build on their strong visual identity, reflecting the personality and strong voice of the brand to differentiate them and engage with new audiences.

A bold call
to action

The design approach embraced an activist, journalistic look and feel with direct and thought provoking messaging. Strong lettering found on protest signs inspired the typography choice and with high contrast colours it brought together a bold visual language.

Commissioned illustrations from MP5 and bespoke data visualisations make the most of the relaxed grid, creating dynamic and flexible page designs throughout.

The environmental impact and sustainability of the printed report was extremely important. Printed on 100% recycled stock, with no binding – just folded pages holding it together, enabled 100% recyclability.

A cohesive visual experience

The online experience takes its cues from the printed design, applying a frankness to the featured stories with a strong written and visual point of view. The vibrant visual language of type, image and colour creates a powerful and instantly recognisable look across all digital applications.
