A vibrant new brand for a low-carbon energy leader

 

Small, but agile

The challenge was to provide a new name, logo and brand mission to a new stand-alone business in the renewable energy sector. Firstly a new brand mission was created – To enable a low carbon future for businesses by driving change across the whole value chain and making the energy market more accessible, flexible and collaborative for customers.

With the brand mission honed, we conveyed the spirit of the company with a new name and logo. The name combines ‘continuous’ and ‘energy’, which reflects a commitment to develop and operate assets that generate a clean supply of renewable energy that will last forever.

The brand identity provides a sense of continuous movement and energy. The ‘n’ provides the framework to each of the characters with the two dots providing separation to read the name on a circular axis. The vibrant colour choice breaks the mould of energy companies further emphasising a bright and accessible future.

A unifying brand device

Two circles known as the ‘duple’ connote the power and potential of two parties coming together to form a partnership. These simple shapes bound cinematic imagery and create a series of textures visualising the intangible nature of energy and power. The strong primary colour palette has a distinct quality and ownability amongst the existing renewable landscape, whilst the typography is sleek, approachable and modern.
